Trellis is another all-steel work by Paul and is a large piece, approximately 62" tall and 22" wide. It weighs about 35 lbs. The Trellis is black texture-painted square rod and each flower is a unique design created from square tubing. The blooms are either concave or convex as can be seen in the close-up view. The blooms are painted blue, red, orange, and yellow. The paint was lightly sprayed or "blown" over a black base giving the flowers a beautiful, wispy color. This piece would look beautiful in a sunroom or breakfast area or even outside by a patio or garden. The piece is signed by Paul Hurst, the artist.
