Venusian Rebirth, another all-steel piece by Paul Hurst, is strikingly colorful. Evoking the image of an extra-terrestrial rebirth following some apocalyptic event, the piece practically comes to life. Each of the three steel hand-formed "pods" is brightly colored with an airbrush and then given many layers of beautiful clear coating. The base is painted grey and is heavy, providing excellent stability for the piece. Each "pod" is removeable for shipping. Venusian Rebirth is signed and dated by the artist.
